Short version: some links on this site earn us a commission. It never changes what we
recommend, and it never costs you extra.

How it works

NexTools is free to read. We fund it two ways: advertising, and affiliate
commissions. When you click through to a tool from our site and later sign up for a paid plan, the
vendor may pay us a referral fee. You pay the same price you would have paid going directly.

Which links are affiliate links

Not all of them. Many tools we cover have no affiliate programme at all, and we cover them anyway
when they are worth knowing about. Outbound links that do earn a commission are marked with
rel="sponsored" in the page source, which is the standard Google asks publishers to use.

What money does not buy

• Ratings. Scores come from the criteria described in our
  How We Review page. Commission rate is not
  one of them.
• Inclusion. We decide what to list based on whether readers are looking for it.
• Position. Ordering on category and comparison pages is not for sale.
• Favourable wording. If a tool is weak in an area, we say so, affiliate or not.

We do not accept payment for a positive review. If a vendor ever offers, the answer is no, and
we will say so on the page.

Advertising

We also display ads served by Google AdSense. Those are labelled as advertising and are selected
automatically by Google, not chosen or endorsed by us. See our

FTC and regulatory note

This disclosure is made in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements
and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and equivalent rules elsewhere. A short version of it also appears
in the footer of every page.
